Andre's go-to bike bell
A bike bell is that item that everyone is guilty of not having, but agrees that they should have.
It's a great way to reduce the number of collisions with riders as well as improve relations with other trail users. That being said, people do not use them because the common bike bell sits above the handlebar, looks janky and is hard to reach. I had that exact same problem and have went through dozens of bells trying to find an optimal bell. One that is slick, easy to use and has a nice, loud, ring.
I ended up settling on the bell you see in the picture, and I've been happily using these bells for the past three years. You essentially have a lever which you pull with your index finger. It doesn't interfere with your brake or dropper lever and works with 99% of set ups that I've seen.
